Planned Order: Start Date in Past

Hello all,

 

I have a question about planned orders (Order Type - VP) with start date in past. As per the configuration (MRP parameters and OPU5) setup we don't allow planned orders to have their start date in past. This works good on planned orders created for the make to stock(VSF) scenario. Whereas the same doesn't work on planned orders created for the material with strategy group - 52 (Requirement Type - VSE).

Is this something that is very much common ?

 

Note: I know these orders aren't real and would need a sales order to trigger production or procurement but do we have any setup to switch these orders back to forward scheduling.

Calculating avg using a string

Good Afternoon,

I am trying to calculate an avg of services provided by dividing a count of total values divided by a count of total months.  I am using sql server, and every time I try to  write a formula I get an error message saying a number is required here.  I grouped this report by recorded time and chose a monthly option.

My formula looks like this:

count({IP_FLO_GP_DATA.DISP_NAME})/GroupName ({IP_FLWSHT_MEAS.RECORDED_TIME}, "monthly")

 

How can make this formula work?

Statistical Forecasting with IBP for S&OP - Time bucket problem

Hi,

 

for our S&OP process in IBP for S&OP, we want to execute our Demand Planning Process based on monthly time buckets, and our Supply Planning Process based on weekly time buckets. Consequently, we implemented a Time Profile with the lowest Time Profile level being "Week" in our Planning Area.

 

If I now use Statistical Forecasting methods within our described system settings, all calculations take place on the lowest Time Profile level - the weekly one. In addition to that, the statistical forecasting profiles use the weekly planning level as input. So, for example, when I want to use historic data of a full year, I have to select 52 periods (weeks) as Historical Periods.

 

As I would much prefer to base my Statistical Forecasting on an aggregated monthly time bucket and use only 12 historic periods (months) as data input - is there any possibility to switch the relevant Time Profile level for the Demand Planning Process to a monthly bucket?

He is what I have: I have designed several reports at home inside a vb.net application for a customer.

They want to print the reports to a network printer. which is fine.

 

I have the following set.

Application Migrating from Windows Mobile to Android?

There are a  large number of character-based scanning mobile devices still in use for industrial purposes, in warehouse management, manufacturing, and supply chain execution applications offered by SAP.  These devices are obviously expected to have long life expectancies in industrial environments 3-to-5 years.  Newer devices now run on Android with virtual keyless features, touch screen, Bluetooth, NFC, LTE, enterprise store, MDM, etc.  What is the application migration path for legacy mobile applications in warehouse management, manufacturing, and supply chain execution?  I don’t see an easy option to transport legacy Windows Embedded Mobile applications to Android so what do customers do with the app when they need to upgrade to newer device/OS?

Dear guru,

 

after using flash copy from production server to backup server

 

Database mounted

Database opened

and can startsap

 

My system is ECC6 EPH6 with Oracle 11.2.0.3.0

 

I got error in ST22 by system

How to disable email notifications for HR Trigger requests

Scenario: HR Trigger requests make use of the same workflow notification as other Access Control requests. Customers may want to disable notifications when the request is created by HR Trigger, and all other requests should continue to generate notifications normally.

 

How can customers disable email notifications for HR Trigger requests only?

 

Solution: This can be achieved by following the steps below:

 

1) Create Enhancement Spot/BADi per Note 1589130 or per Note 1727135. You can also apply both notes and merge the code.

 

2) Thereafter, customized code can be done in method SEND_OVERRIDE of the BADi's implenting class. It is a stable solution and does not get overwritten by SP upgrades.

 

The customization code attached is a suggestion that has been tested in my internal system as works effectivelly.

 

In my sample code, I am suppressing e-mail notifications for HR Triggers that create request type 23.

Please note that you need to replace the request type 23 with your own number based on you HR actions maintained in SPRO.

 

Navigate to SPRO>...>Access Control>User Provisioning>Maintain Settings for HR Triggers,
.

 

If you would like to suppress e-mail for more than one action triggered by HR, then you need to slightly modify the sample code to achieve it.

Costs Report - Order Type linked to Maintenance Planner Group?

Hi team!

I'm looking for a way to perform a cost report that links certain order types to my maintenance planner groups.

I know MCI3 gives me cost analysis by planner group and MCI8 gives me cost analysis by order type, but i haven´t been able to relate both analysis.

 

I´ve been using IW39 to search in the orders history but is too time and resouce consuming...

 

What I need is something like this:

 

Order Type PM01Order Type PM02
Mechanical Planner Group$$$$$$
Electrical Planner Group$$$$$$

 

Any suggestions will be much appreciatted!

Issue while performing GET operation using REST Client

I am, following the below mentioned link to register as well as perform CRUD operation using REST CLIENT

 

http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/mobility-platform/blog/2014/07/01/smp3-rest-api-application-development.

 

But Whenever I am trying to perform GET operation(after registering the application) using REST Client,I am being prompted for NWG credentials.Even on entering the correct credentials , the popup keeps on appearing.
Please note, I have selected Basic SSO mechanism , Allow Anonymous Access and HTTP/HTTPS Authentication.

I have also checked with the NWG person,who has informed that the account is not locked.

After cancelling the popup I am getting error.

I have also checked the log file in SMP . The screenshot of the errors are attached below..Please help.
Can anyone please tell me why such an scenario is occurring.

after upgrade con2 running too long

Dear experts,

 

I am upgraded our sap system ( copy of production server into test and then upgrade it) from EHP4 /oacle 10g to EHP7 / oracle 11g

we are facing an issue when we run CON2 transaction only in production order  which is took 3 to 4 minutes in Production server but taken 40 minutes in EHP7 upgraded test system and then work process time out dump ( because I set work process time out 40 min ) .

but unable to find what is the issue.

Checking R3load version

Hello,

 

I want to check the R3load version included on 51049724_3 (SAP DC Kernel 7.42 PL101 Linux on x86_64 64bit) cd media for SLES

 

I've extracted the SAPEXEDB.SAR and tried to check the R3load version

 

./R3load -version

./R3load: error while loading shared libraries: libSQLDBCHDB.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

 

Also I've tried with --v , --version...

 

What can I do to check only the R3load version included on this package?

Check the connection status of a datastore before processing

Hi Experts,
 
I've a requirement where I have to check the connection status of a datastore for a database before processing the dataflow.The source and target database is oracle.So I want to check it's status so if it's ok I can load the data into target otherwise wait till it's active.This is because my target databse goes down sometimes due to backup or maintenance.So Please share your thoughts how can I achieve this.

Retrieve a query value into a variable

Hi experts!

In the code below, I want to list in a browser, the Inbox names and the quantity of objects next to each.

While the function InfoObjectInbox.getTittle() gets me the name (SI_NAME) I do not find one that can get me the quantity (SI_CHILDREN), perhaps into the line: int aInt = ??????;

 

How can I achieve this?

Missing records in 0MAT_SALES_ATTR extractor

Hi,

 

I have 2 questions around the masterdata extractor "0mat_Sales_attr".

 

1. When I use the extractor I am missing some records from MVKE for a specific distribution channel (99)?

 

2. I get a lot more records than exists in MVKE (~15x more)

Export to Excel Using Context Menu

Hi DS Experts,

 

I have 5 cross-tabs (say CROSSTAB_1, CROSSTAB_2, CROSSTAB_3, CROSSTAB_4 & CROSSTAB_5) in my DS Application and I need to export the user selected cross-tab to Excel by using Context Menu.

 

Code to Export : APPLICATION.export(ExportType.EXCEL_xlsx,CROSSTAB_1);

But the problem here is instead of user selected Cross-tab, it is hard-coded to CROSSTAB_1.

 

Is there anyway to find, which Cross-tab has been right-clicked? So that only the required / Specified cross-tab can be exported.

Parametrizar Campos Personalizados

Estimados,

 

Buenos días, quisiera pedir su ayuda para lo siguiente, resulta que hemos creado varios campos de usuario para los distintos modulos, sin embargo, al momento de empezar a parametrizarlos por usuarios, quedan bien, pero al otro día cuando vuelven a iniciar sesion con SAP les vuelven a aparecer todos los campos creados y no entiendo por que vuelven a aparecer si los tenemos deshabilitados.

 

 

Les agradecería su ayuda.

GATP ROC confirmation

Hello All,

I am implementing ROC functionality in GATP. The issue I have is below.

 

Stock for material A = 1000CS

Today is Day0

Order 1 comes in for Day3 and gATP confirms all 1000 CS for the order

Order 2 comes in for Day2 - ROC is not triggered and remaining requirement is created. The expectation is ROC to be green and trigger the workflow and EDQA process

Order 3 comes in for Day4 - ROC is green and triggering the workflow which is incorrect because my expectation is Day4 order has lower priority than Day3.


Sort profile has LFTMS - delivery date/time and MBDAT - Material availability date in the ascending order

In the process category, i have the ROC event and activity CSO - document confirmation (ROC)

 

Please advise me where I am going wrong and why it is confirming Day4 order and not Day2.

SAP CCtr Upgrade Process (Issue in Standard Report VU Upgrade)

Hi All,

 

I am upgrading CCtr from 7.0.6.0 to 7.0.8.100. I am aware that for 7.0.7.100 onwards, there are some additional steps for Standard Report VU - deleting and re-creating OLAP.

 

I am following the below steps but still getting error for Standard Report VU. Please help:

 

1.Checked standard report VU – It was green

2.Upgraded IA

3.Upgraded HAC

4.Deleted OLAP

5. Upgraded DB, Reporting DB, Reporting Website

6. Upgraded other VU except Standard Reports

7. Checked OLAP – It was regenerated

8. Ran the OLAP Jobs

9. Re-assigned IP to reporting services URL

10.Restart reporting service

11.Upgrade Standard Reports VU
